Yah so I fell off a stool at work and hit my head super hard on a filing cabinet. The receptionist heard the whack from way out front in the hall. I have a huge bump at the back of my head. It hurts. I got the signing bonus! My account shows an automatic deposit from my payroll dated this coming Monday. Over $1100 went to income tax! which is almost 1/3 of the bonus. ouch.

But now at least I know I can use my bonus to pay for the sectional, the desk we bought last night at ikea--we opted for a simple piece from the Galant line, because we ( Read more... )

I forgot! Today is my one year anniversary of working here.

That said, this time last year we had 2 extra summer workers to help out the 2 libtechs. Right now it's just us two libtechs, no summer workers. This could mean trouble is coming.
